Whether peddlers use them as an excuse to boost the economy of the neutral ground between Kaga and the nearing territories or if they're merely off-hand celebrations remnant of the much larger celebrations beyond their gates is hardly relevant during this time of night.

The lanterns are brightly lit, the stands have been set up, and crowds have steadily begun pouring through the crevices of food carts and game stalls. The festival is in full swing, and all those regardless of stature or clan are invited to join.]
